At HSR Psychology, we aim to ensure that children and young people with autistic spectrum conditions (ASC) are supported at home, in school and in the community. ASC can include a range of possibilities.

Autistic spectrum condition

The autistic spectrum is an umbrella term for a variety of different autistic spectrum conditions. We provide assessments and reports for individuals with an autistic spectrum condition.

Hyperlexia

Hyperlexia is characterised by an individual’s intense love for reading and difficulty understanding verbal communication. We can assess for traits of hyperlexia.

Pathological demand avoidance

Pathological demand avoidance is an anxiety based condition which is linked to autistic spectrum conditions (ASC). We can provide assessments and interventions for children and young people with traits of pathological demand avoidance.
