Special educational needs and disabilities have an impact on all areas of life; they are not confined to the education setting. Our team of specialist psychologists is available to provide a broad range of independent services for health professionals.
We work with a broad variety of health professionals in the private and public sectors. Our services are available to many health professionals, including:
A multi-disciplinary approach is common and effective in identification and intervention processes for special educational needs and disabilities. Working together minimises waiting times for services, families and education settings. Our team is available when needed, ensuring effective referrals.
Clinical, educational and child psychology complements many professions and is beneficial in joint assessments. Providing joint interventions opens up a broad range of possibilities, including time saving effective and specialised input for a child or young person. Joint assessments and consultations facilitate complicated cases where there is more than one area of need. If there is a patient who requires an assessment from our psychologists then we will facilitate the sharing of results.
Our experienced psychologists provide a range of consultancy services. We pride ourselves on providing professional advice. Consultation is flexible to needs and requirements and can be provided regularly and as a one-off service.
Increasing communication between professions and professionals encourages the sharing of knowledge and good practice. Learning from each other improves future outcomes through increasing understanding, which could reduce the number of unnecessary referrals.
Our team are available to liaise between settings enabling us to communicate appropriate information to or from parents, education settings and the child or young person. We advise on our experience to save the repetition of information gathering, allowing health professionals to spend more time with the individual.
Our team provide professional development in a range of ways: onsite, workshops and events. We deliver bespoke training on many areas of clinical, educational and child psychology.
We regularly hold workshops and events to facilitate the sharing of good practice, case studies and networking between professionals from a wide variety of backgrounds. Read more about our CPD events.
