Children and young people

If you are a child or young person looking to make a positive social impact, we want to help you.

Our mission is to support the needs of children and young people, like you, at home, in education, and in the community. You can help us to do this by telling us your opinions about how we can best help and support young people like you, to grow and succeed.

What is a positive social impact?

Social change means creating positive outcomes for people in society, usually by increasing awareness and understanding. An example of positive social change is the ‘The Equality Act 2010’ making it illegal to discriminate against people with mental health problems in public services and functions, access to premises, work, education, associations and transport.

What kind of children and young people do we collaborate with?

We would like to join up with children and young people who are enthusiastic and motivated to help themselves and others to feel supported and happy at home, at school and in the community. We would hope that any children or young people would want to use our help to bring about a positive social impact and make a difference.

How do we work with children and young people?

We can work with children and young people by coming together to support and develop their ideas to create something that will help children and young people to feel happy, safe and ready. We can do this in many ways and are open to any ideas about how we can assist you and people like you to feel encouraged to maximise your potential.

What are the benefits of collaborating with HSR Psychology?

There are many benefits of working in collaboration with HSR Psychology. Here are some examples:

  • HSR values: Child-centred

    We’re child-centred

Children and young people’s needs are at the core of everything we do at HSR Psychology. Every member of our hard-working team put every individual’s strengths, needs and situations first in order to come together with children and young people to maximise their potential. Overall, we want to help individuals to be happy, safe and ready for life’s challenges.

  • HSR values: Flexible

    We’re flexible

We believe that we should always try to be understanding about the different needs of individuals. This is also true when it comes to collaboration. We will always try to adapt to any unique idea a child or young person may have, so that our collaboration can become a reality.

  • HSR values: Supportive

    We’re supportive

We believe the key to providing a supportive environment is through a consistent, reliable and responsive service. Our team listens carefully to make sure we understand your needs and can support positive change. We will be sure to listen to any child or young person’s ideas and support them into making their plan into a reality.
